Q. Why would I want to unlock my phone?

A. The advantages of unlocking your phone are as follows:

• You may purchase or use a SIM card from another network in your phone.
• You will have the flexibility to shop around for the best deal.
• You are no longer tied to one network service provider
• This will allow you to change the SIM card to a local provider when you go abroad (calls are usually much cheaper this way)

Q. What is remote unlocking?

A. Remote unlocking has now become the most common way of unlocking the most recent phones. No data cables are required – the only thing you need to unlock your phone is a specially calculated code.

Q. How do you unlock my phone?

A. You provide us with a couple of basic details about your phone :

• The make and model of your phone.
• Your phones 15 digit serial number. This is also called an IMEI number (you can find this by typing *#06# and pressing send.)
• The country and network your phone is locked to.

We use these to calculate an unlock code which we display on screen immediately and also send you by email. We will also provide you with comprehensive instructions on entering the codes into your phone. (Don't worry this is very straightforward!).

Q. Will unlocking my phone damage it?

A. No it is not possible to damage your phone. If you enter the code we provide to you incorrectly 5 times, then the code will no longer work. In this case your phone will have to be unlocked using a cable and some specialist software.

A. No it's really easy, if you can dial a number on your phone you will be able to unlock it.

Q. How do I find out my phones IMEI number?

A. Enter *#06# on your phone's key pad and the 15 digit serial number will be displayed on the screen. Alternatively look on the phone itself. The serial (IMEI) is usually found near the battery or sim card.

Q. What if I give you the wrong IMEI number?

A. It is extremely important that you give us the exact IMEI number of your phone. We use this number to calculate your unlock codes. If you give us the wrong IMEI number then your unlock codes simply will not work.
